New Delhi, July 5 -- An investigation will be conducted into the cause of a fire that broke out at a factory near Punjab National Bank in Chandan Hola early on Sunday, officials said.

A high-intensity blaze tore through a 5,000-square-yard factory around 2 am, prompting a major firefighting operation that lasted nearly eight hours, they added.

Fire Officer Manish Sherawat said around 30 fire tenders were deployed to bring the fire under control.
