Delhi: Northern Range Traffic team creates successful green corridor, donor heart reaches Fortis Hospital in 63 minutes
New Delhi, Sept. 18 -- The Northern Range Traffic Team successfully facilitated a critical Green Corridor from PGI, Rohtak, to Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, enabling the timely transportation of a donor heart for a scheduled heart transplant.
Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, informed Delhi Traffic Police that Chanchal Yadav, aged 45 years, was scheduled to undergo a heart transplant and that the donor heart was to be transported from PGI, Rohtak.
Taking immediate action, a dedicated team was constituted under the supervision of Sachin Kumar Singhal, IPS, DCP Traffic, Northern Range, and with the guidance of ACP Rajesh Kumar, North-West District Traffic Unit.
