Bhubaneswar, Aug. 26 -- Biju Janata Dal Vice President Debi Prasad Mishra, while addressing the issue of the 130th Amendment Bill, said that the Opposition has been very critical about the issue and that the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) is the "appropriate" body to deliberate on the matter.
Speaking to ANI on Monday, Mishra said that the BJD will clear its stance on the bill once it is confirmed if it will remain in its present form or will be modified.
"Many opposition parties are critical about the bill. JPC is the appropriate body to deliberate on it before it is considered by Parliament," Debi Prasad Mishra said, adding BJD can make a response only after the JPC's remark on the bill.
