New Delhi, Oct. 13 -- Accurate and standardised data collection is essential for evidence-based policymaking and technological growth in the age of artificial intelligence (AI), Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister P K Mishra said on Tuesday.

Speaking to ANI on the sidelines of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) Conclave, Mishra stressed the need for reliable data to support governance, policy planning and national development.
