Court admits Hindu Sena chief's petition against Sonia Gandhi over 'Vande Mataram' row; next hearing on Sept 8
Ghaziabad, Aug. 18 -- A hearing was held on Tuesday in a special MP-MLA court in Ghaziabad on a petition filed by Hindu Sena national president Vishnu Gupta against Congress leader Sonia Gandhi over alleged disrespect towards the national song 'Vande Mataram', with the court admitting the case and fixing September 8, for recording Gupta's statement.
The hearing was conducted Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court no 2, before Magistrate Pranav Tripathi, who admitted the case, according to Hindu Sena national president Gupta.
