New Delhi, July 28 -- Senior Congress leader and Lok Sabha Member of Parliament Manish Tewari on Tuesday submitted an Adjournment Motion notice to the Lok Sabha Secretary-General, seeking an immediate suspension of scheduled House proceedings to discuss the alleged police high-handedness during a recent student march.

In his notice, the MP demanded the suspension of Question Hour, Zero Hour, and all other listed business for the day to discuss the reported use of pellet guns by the Rapid Action Force (RAF) against unarmed student protesters during their July 20 march to Parliament, which reportedly left over 80 people injured.
