India, Feb. 26 -- Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], February 26 (ANI) Congress MLAs on Thursday staged a protest outside the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the India-US interim trade agreement.

Protesters carried banners reading "PM Modi is compromised." Leader of the Opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly, Tikaram Jully, said the government needs to wake up and recognise how it has jeopardised farmers' interests.

"We want the government to wake up. They need to understand how they have played with the benefits of the farmers. There has been a compromise with the rights of the farmers," Tikaram Jully told ANI.
