Hyderabad, Sept. 9 -- Congress MLCs and MLAs on Wednesday criticised the BRS over the conduct of its members during protests and alleged disruption of Assembly proceedings, while also targeting BRS working president K Taraka Rama Rao over his remarks against the Telangana Chief Minister.

Congress MLC Balmoor Venkat said two MLCs were suspended over their conduct while arriving at the Assembly as part of a protest, saying the action was taken to send a message that the Upper House deserved respect and that issues should be raised through proper procedure.

Venkat alleged that the BRS was behaving in an "anti-Dalit" manner and criticised the party for allegedly trying to protect KCR over derogatory remarks made against a Dalit Speaker. He ...
