Washington DC, March 13 -- Conan O'Brien has confirmed that the 2026 Oscars will feature a powerful tribute to filmmaker Rob Reiner during an extended "In Memoriam" segment. Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, died in December last year. Producers say the segment aims to honour several influential figures lost in the past year, according to People.
Speaking while helping roll out the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, O'Brien said the tribute would be a significant and emotional segment of the 98th Oscars ceremony. However, he declined to reveal details of the planned tribute.
