CM Yogi highlights state's textile heritage, industrial potential at UP Textile Conclave in Lucknow
Lucknow, Sept. 8 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday highlighted the state's rich textile heritage and industrial potential, saying Uttar Pradesh has skilled manpower, a large market, industry, entrepreneurship and the world's youngest workforce.
He said textiles produced in India, particularly in Uttar Pradesh, had historically been in demand in markets across the world.
Addressing the two-day 'UP Textile Conclave-2026', Uttar Pradesh CM said, "In the past, the textiles that India used to produce, especially those made in Uttar Pradesh, were in demand in markets around the world, in the cultures of Rome and Greece."
