Agartala, Aug. 5 -- Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday stressed the need to promote the state's unique blend of traditional cultures as a means to achieve mental and spiritual well-being. Calling for culture to become a mass movement, the Chief Minister emphasised the importance of nurturing and modernising local traditions to engage the youth and preserve the region's heritage.
According to a release, he said that "culture plays the most important role in achieving mental and spiritual peace, and efforts should be made to showcase the traditional mixed culture of the state to the world. For this, the development of culture should be turned into a mass movement"
