New Delhi, March 19 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) examined industrialist Anil Ambani in New Delhi, in connection with the Rs 2929.05 crore bank fraud case against Reliance Communications Ltd. (RCOM).

According to a press release by the CBI on Thursday, Anil Ambani has been summoned for questioning on Friday as well.

This comes after an FIR was registered based on a complaint filed by the State Bank of India (SBI).

The accused, Anil D Ambani, appeared before the Investigating Officer on Thursday and has been interrogated for about 8 Hours, according to an official statement. For further questioning, the accused has been directed to appear before the investigating officer tomorrow as well, the statement added.
