New Delhi, Feb. 26 -- Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is visiting India from February 27 to March 2, 2026, at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is Carney's first official visit to India, aiming to strengthen bilateral ties and explore new partnerships, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.
As per the MEA release, Carney will arrive in Mumbai on February 27. Over the next two days, he will participate in separate business engagements, interact with Indian and Canadian CEOs, industry and financial experts, innovators, educators, and Canadian Pension Funds based in India.
