Geneva, Sept. 20 -- The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has welcomed the raising of the human rights situation in Balochistan and the detention of BYC leaders at an international forum during the ongoing session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).

As mentioned by BYC in a post on X, the organisation said it considered the expression of concern by Global Human Rights Defense (GHRD) regarding the situation of BYC leaders and workers, along with its call for the UNHRC to take immediate notice, as an important development.
