Brothers get heart transplants 11 years apart for familial cardiomyopathy at Fortis Escorts Delhi
New Delhi, May 28 -- In a rare and remarkable medical case, two brothers from the same family underwent life-saving heart transplants 11 years apart after both were diagnosed with advanced Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM), a progressive condition that weakens the heart muscle and leads to severe heart failure.
