Chennai, Jan. 21 -- Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) National Spokesperson CR Kesavan on Wednesday accused the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) of displaying a "brazen and blatant" anti-Hindu mindset.
He criticised Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's 2023 remarks and questioned why Chief Minister MK Stalin had not condemned them.
Kesavan's remarks come a day after the Madras High Court quashed a case against BJP IT chief Amit Malviya, who had termed Udhayanidhi's remarks a call for genocide.
Kesavan also pointed to incidents where Karthigai Deepam celebrations were opposed and deliberately not greeting people on Deepavali, describing them as examples of flagrant abuse of the Hindu faith that the public is not going to forget or forgiv...
