Hyderabad, Aug. 25 -- BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri alleged that an ACP-rank Telangana Police officer was tasked with monitoring his movements at the behest of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's brother, questioning whether the state police was functioning under the law or political influence.

In a post shared on Monday on X, Arvind said he had been informed that an ACP-rank officer had been assigned to monitor him and his movements.

"DGP Shri @CVAnandIPS Garu, I have known you for decades and have always regarded you as a competent officer. Recently, I have been informed that an ACP-rank officer of the Telangana Police has been tasked with monitoring me and my movements at the behest of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's brother," Dharmapuri wrote....
