Patna, July 2 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday inaugurated the extension of Patna Metro services to Malahipakdi, nearly doubling the operational length of the city's first metro corridor.

Following the inauguration, Chief Minister Choudhary also travelled on the Patna Metro.

With the extension, metro services will now operate between ISBT and Malahipakdi, expanding the reach of the city's operational metro corridor.

Commercial operations on the first 3.2-kilometre stretch of the Patna Metro between ISBT and Bhootnath had commenced on October 6, 2025.
