Patna, Aug. 24 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected areas in Patna, Begusarai and Bhagalpur districts following a rise in the water level of the Ganga River.

He reviewed the flood situation, waterlogging, relief operations and preparedness measures with senior officials and directed them to ensure continuous monitoring of sensitive areas.

In a post on X, Bihar CM wrote, "An aerial survey was conducted of the flood-affected districts of Patna, Bhagalpur, Katihar, Naugachia, Begusarai, and Khagaria to assess the current situation. During this time, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary was present."
