Patna, Sept. 4 -- The five-hour Bihar Bandh protest organised by the BJP in reply to derogatory remarks passed about PM Modi and his mother during a Voter Adhikar Yatra event in Darbhanga earlier this month is in full swing across the state. Cadres of the BJP are staging protests at various points of the state.

Bihar Minister Krishna Kumar Mantoo sought legal action against the Opposition leaders who allegedly abused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother during Voter Adhikar Yatra.

Speaking to reporters, Mantoo said that the Prime Minister is not an ordinary person, but rather the Prime Minister of the entire state of Bihar. "Whoever speaks wrongly about him or his mother should face strict legal action," he added.
