Motihari, Aug. 18 -- Security agencies have apprehended a Somali national from the Bhangaha border area in Bihar's East Champaran district along the India-Nepal border, officials said.

The arrested foreign national has been identified as Kafi Ali Hashi. A mobile phone, a microphone and Rs 25,000 in Indian currency were recovered from his possession.

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) team deployed at Bhangaha apprehended the foreign national near Sainik Road, close to the India-Nepal border, under the jurisdiction of Jharokha police station.
