Bengaluru, April 2 -- A tragic incident was reported from Bengaluru, where a woman allegedly died by suicide after the death of her 11-month-old son at their residence under the Chandralayout Police Station limits.

A case has been registered at Chandralayout Police Station in the Byraveshwarnagar area of the city. The case has been recorded under UDR No. 17/2026, and Section 194 (3) (iv) of the BNSS Act, and investigation is currently underway.

According to police, the complaint filed by the father (32), who works as an engineer working in a private firm in Peenya, had been residing at the said address for the past four years with his wife and their infant son. His wife was employed with a private company and worked from home.
