Dhaka, Aug. 31 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has expressed optimism that India will tour Bangladesh for a six-match white-ball series during the 2026-27 season, according to Cricinfo.

The proposed tour comprises three ODIs and three T20Is and was initially scheduled for August 2025. It was later deferred to September 2026 but was postponed again following a fallout between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the BCB earlier this year.

On Monday, BCB president Tamim Iqbal said the two boards are currently in talks to bring the tour back onto the schedule.

"All I can tell you is that both the cricket boards are in discussion. It is a fruitful talk, and I am hopeful this will happen," he said, as quoted by Cricinf...
