Varanasi, Aug. 16 -- The spirit of patriotism and national pride resonated across the Banaras Hindu University campus as the university celebrated the 80th Independence Day. The campus was imbued with the fervour of the occasion, as students, faculty, and staff came together to reaffirm their commitment to the nation and resolve to contribute meaningfully to the growth and progress of the University.

The main ceremony took place at the Amphitheatre Ground, where Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi hoisted the tricolour, followed by the national anthem.
