Amsterdam, Aug. 21 -- The Baloch National Movement (BNM) organised a protest demonstration and rally in the Netherlands, condemning the reported Pakistan Air Force airstrikes in Surab, also known as Gidar, in Balochistan. BNM said the attacks resulted in civilian casualties, including women and children, and urged the international community to take immediate notice of the incident.

As reported by BNM, members Latif Baloch, Shay Jami and Asa Bijjar, addressing the gathering, described the Surab incident as a serious humanitarian tragedy.

They alleged that the human rights situation in Balochistan is deteriorating and criticised what they termed international silence over threats to civilian lives.
