New Delhi, July 2 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday met Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju in the national capital and held detailed discussions on flood relief, rehabilitation and recovery efforts in the state.

During the meeting held at the Union Minister's official residence in New Delhi, the Assam CM expressed gratitude to Rijiju for his recent visit to the state to review the flood situation and assess ground-level challenges faced by affected communities.
