Amingaon, Aug. 24 -- The Kamrup district administration and District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), in coordination with the Specialised Adoption Agency (SAA) in Assam's Boko region, on Monday conducted an official inter-country adoption handover ceremony for a child placed with adoptive parents visiting from Spain.

The adoptive parents were identified as Cesar Tauste Martinez and Maria Josefa Solves Royo.

The ceremony was held at the Conference Hall of the District Commissioner's Office in Amingaon and was presided over by Kamrup District Commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra.
