Asian Games 2026: Indian rowers finish 5th in men's quadruple sculls final
Aichi-Nagoya, Sept. 24 -- The Indian quartet of Kulwinder Singh, Navdeep Singh, Jakar Khan and Balraj Panwar secured a fifth spot in the men's quadruple sculls final in rowing at the ongoing Asian Games at Aichi-Nagoya on Thursday.
The Indian team managed timings of 5:52.17, as per ESPN, placing them behind the gold medalists, China (5:46.03), Indonesia (5:47.90) and Uzbekistan (5:48.96).
In some more rowing action, the pairing of Satnam Singh and Salman Khan secured a bronze medal in the men's double sculls final on Thursday.
The duo clocked a time of 6:13.25, just 3.48 seconds short of gold medalist Chinese pair of Yi Xudi / Nie Yide and 2.76 seconds behind the silver medalists Mekhrojbek Mamatkulov / Pavel Sorin, as per ESPN.
