Mumbai, Aug. 27 -- Shiv Sena leader Sachin Ahir on Wednesday said a thorough investigation is underway into allegations of a paper leak in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Drug Inspector recruitment examination, adding that the administration is gathering details and will take appropriate action in the matter.

In June 2026, Ahir left Shiv Sena (UBT) to join the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena; following his switch, he was elected unopposed as the Deputy Chairman of the Maharashtra Legislative Council on July 1.
