New Delhi, May 29 -- Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president YS Sharmila on Friday met with the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, at the residence of Congress Parliamentary chairperson Sonia Gandhi's residence in the national capital.

The meeting focused on plans to strengthen Congress operations in Andhra Pradesh.

In an 'X' post, Sharmila said, "Met with AICC top leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Shri Rahul Gandhi, at his 10 Janpath residence in Delhi today. We discussed various aspects regarding the strengthening of the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh and received several suggestions and guidance from him."
