Gandhinagar, Feb. 15 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday inaugurated a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)-based Public Distribution System (PDS) in Gujarat's Gandhinagar, marking a significant step in enhancing transparency in the country's food distribution network.
This initiative is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Digital India campaign, which aims to improve the delivery of essential services to the public.
