New Delhi, April 1 -- The Delhi High Court on Wednesday directed a trial court to hear and decide the plea of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against the interim bail granted to Jawad Ahmad Siddique, chairman of Al Falah Trust.
The ED had challenged the two-week interim bail granted to him on the grounds of chemotherapy for his wife. He was granted interim bail by the Saket court on March 7.
Justice Saurabh Banerjee remanded the plea after noting the submissions of ED, which had sought cancellation of the interim bail granted to Siddique in the money laundering case.
