Ahmedabad, Oct. 24 -- Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Saturday inaugurated the Ahmedabad International Book Festival 2026 at the Sabarmati Riverfront Event Centre in Ahmedabad.

The nine-day festival, which began on October 24, will continue until November 1.

The event is being organised by the National Book Trust (NBT) in association with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. This is the third edition of the festival since the city's book fair became an international event in 2024.

Speaking to ANI, NBT Chairman Milind Marathe spoke about the growing response to the festival, saying that the number of publishers and stalls had nearly doubled compared to last year.
