New Delhi, Sept. 7 -- The Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) organised the Swachh Vayu Diwas 2026 today, on the International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies.

The event was presided over by the Chairperson, National Green Tribunal (NGT), Justice Prakash Shrivastava, as Chief Guest.

According to a release, other dignitaries gracing the occasion included Secretary (EFCC), Tanmay Kumar; Chairperson (CAQM), Rajesh Verma; DG (Forest) and Special Secretary (EFCC), Sushil Kumar Awasthi; Chairperson (CPCB), Amandeep Garg; and AS (EFCC), Ashutosh Agnihotri.
