Pune, Aug. 23 -- The CW Golf Championship 2026 was held at the Poona Club Golf Course with the aim of recognising and supporting the contribution of caddies to the sport.

The event began with a junior golf clinic hosted by ATRI Mumbai Garudas GC, featuring leading golfers including two-time IGPL champion Aman Raj, Olympian Udayan Mane, Asian Tour professional Aadil Bedi and rising talent Tushar Pannu, according to a release.

The championship brought together 200 golfers in a team scramble format to support the welfare and development of caddies.
