Gurugram, Feb. 22 -- The 19-year-old female student who has alleged that she was brutally assaulted in Gurugram by her live-in partner, and is undergoing treatment at the Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, is in a "stable condition", the Gurugram Police said on Sunday.

The student has alleged that her live-in partner poured sanitiser on her private parts and set them on fire. The arrested alleged accused has been identified as a 19-year-old from Narela. The Gurugram police have imposed serious charges, including that of rape, against him. He is currently in police custody.
