New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- With protests erupting in the national capital against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Delhi Police DCP Shrishti Pandey on Thursday said "some form of wrongful influence" is leading the younger generation astray, and urged protesters to consider the long-term and legal consequences of their actions.

Speaking to ANI on protestors allegedly targeting police personnel during demonstrations, Pandey said abusing uniformed officers on lawful duty does not send a positive message to society.
