New Delhi, Oct. 13 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pradeep Bhandari on Tuesday welcomed the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) projection that India will be the fastest-growing major economy, and used the occasion to target Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

Taking to X, Bhandari wrote, "IMF projects India to be the fastest-growing economy! This is why Anarchist Rahul Gandhi wants to destabilise established Democratic Order; he is an agent of chaos! Rahul Gandhi hates progress & economic growth!"

In another post, he said, "The world gives thumbs up to Indian economy under PM @narendramodi which has lifted 20 crore+ people out of poverty!"

His remarks come after the IMF projected the Indian economy to grow by 7 per cent in both FY27 ...
