New Delhi, May 23 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Sanjeev Jha on Saturday alleged that he was detained by Delhi Police during a hunger strike demanding justice in the alleged murder case of Pandav Kumar.

The incident which took place in Uttam Nagar a month back, when a Delhi Police constable allegedly opened fire on a man in the Dwarka area of the national capital.

Speaking to ANI, Jha asserted that his protest would continue until the victim's family is provided compensation, a job, and speedy justice from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government.

"The fast and the struggle will both continue until Pandav Kumar and his family receive justice from the BJP government in Delhi," he told ANI.
