Chennai, Feb. 28 -- All India Congress Committee (AICC) In-Charge for Tamil Nadu Girish Chodankar on Friday confirmed that seat-sharing talks with Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) are ongoing.

Addressing the media, he said that they'll communicate further after meeting with DMK leadership, urging patience and avoiding speculation.

"We will have a meeting regarding an alliance with the DMK leadership. After that, we will be able to communicate further. Let's not speculate on anything in advance," Chodankar said.

The statement comes amid ongoing political discussions over alliance arrangements in Tamil Nadu.

Further clarity on seat-sharing is expected following the proposed meeting between Congress and DMK leadership.
