Patna, Aug. 16 -- Ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Saturday emphasised the need for an "ideology-driven political equation" instead of MY-equation (Muslims-Yadavs) to challenge the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state.
Speaking to reporters, the Jan Suraaj founder proposed a social-political alliance between Hindus who believe in the ideology of Gandhi, Jayaprakash Narayan, Babasaheb Ambedkar, and Ram Manohar Lohia, and Muslims to defeat the BJP.
