New Delhi, Oct. 27 -- CPI(ML) Liberation General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya on Tuesday welcomed the ongoing public hearings being held across the national capital to give voice to affected citizens and announced that public agitations would escalate.

Speaking at the 'Vote Adhikar Jeene Ka Adhikar' Jan Sunwai (Public Hearing) held at Trilokpuri Block 20 in New Delhi, Bhattacharya rejected the Election Commission's assertion that all recent decisions regarding electoral roll updates were taken collectively by the full panel.
