Bhopal, May 29 -- Advocate Anurag Shrivastava, representing the family of Twisha Sharma, on Friday stated that the defence did not oppose the CBI's remand request because their anticipatory bail had been previously rejected due to the serious nature of the case.

A district court in Bhopal on Friday sent former district judge Giribala Singh and her son Samarth Singh to five-day CBI custody till June 2 in connection with the death case of Twisha Sharma.
