Bengaluru, June 18 -- Congress MLA Dinesh Gundu Rao on Thursday expressed confidence in the party securing victories in the ongoing Karnataka Legislative Council elections, declaring that the party possesses the necessary numbers to secure a win for its candidates without needing external support.

"We will win all 5 seats with our own votes. We took our MLAs yesterday, where mock voting was also held. We have enough numbers," Gundu Rao told ANI.

Meanwhile, voting for 7 seats of the Karnataka Legislative Council began at 9 AM today at Vidhana Soudha and will continue till 4 PM.
