New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday highlighted the impact of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) on India's digital payments ecosystem, describing its 10-year journey as a decade of transformative change under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
In a post on X, Singh said, "From a bold vision to a digital payments success story, UPI has made transactions fast, simple, secure and accessible to every Indian."
He added, "This is the power of Digital India, technology for empowerment, inclusion and ease of living."
