"TMC will be wiped out this time": BJP's Suvendu Adhikari attacks Mamata Banerjee
Kolkata, April 25 -- West Bengal Leader of Opposition and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Nandigram and Bhabanipur constituencies Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), alleging corruption, appeasement politics, and decline in public support.
Referring to the ongoing political contest in his constituencies, Adhikari said, "In this area, Mamata Banerjee and Firhad Hakim have been ahead, but this time they won't be able to stay ahead. TMC will be wiped out this time."
He further accused the ruling party of dividing society, saying, "Mamata Banerjee's politics of appeasement is what is dividing society."
