Kolkata, April 29 -- Amid Phase 2 polling in West Bengal, BJP candidate from the Basanti Assembly constituency, Bikash Sardar, on Wednesday alleged that his vehicle came under attack by Trinamool Congress workers, claiming widespread "gundagiri" in the area.

Sardar said a group of around 200 to 250 people attacked his car with rods and bamboo sticks and also targeted his driver.

"Gundagiri by TMC is happening everywhere in the constituency. 200-250 TMC goons attacked my car with rods and bamboo sticks. They also attacked my driver," Sardar told ANI.
