Patna, Sept. 26 -- Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant on Saturday emphasised the need to protect children from substance abuse, saying that the issue should not only be viewed as a public health concern but also as a child protection concern.

CJI Surya Kant made the remarks while addressing the 'Childhood Beyond Drugs' programme in Patna, which was also attended by Bihar Governor Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd.).
