New York, Sept. 22 -- European Council President Antonio Costa on Monday (local time) said international law, effective institutions and international cooperation were essential for lasting peace and prosperity as the European Union (EU), along with India, Australia, Barbados, Brazil, Canada and Kenya, launched the 'Partners for Multilateralism' (P4M) initiative on the sidelines of the UNGA High-Level Week.
