New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Sunday took potshots at the government over the "abnormal delay" in the prorogation of the Lok Sabha after the end of monsoon session of Parliament and asked if Home Minister Amit Shah was still in search of "tainted two/third majority" to get delimitation bill passed through a Special Session of Parliament.

In a post on X, Jairam Ramesh said the time gap between the adjournment of the Lok Sabha sine die and its prorogation is generally two to four days - although there are many instances when adjournment and prorogation have taken place on the very same day.
